The contract was signed in July and includes project management, mobilisation and demobilisation of the tug and towing of a steel structure, measuring 43 x 6.30 metres, from St. Nazaire to Toulon in France for Joseph Paris – a company under the Fayat Grop.
“This is a very important contract for us and an exciting assignment. Prior to departure, we planned that we would need three or four days with good weather to make sure that we could cross the Bay of Biscay in one go”, says Lionel Guilbaud, Oil & Energy Project Director at Blue Water France.
The Fayat Group is the main independent construction and industry group in France with 19,100 employees in 160 independent subsidiaries. The company is represented in 170 countries and is the French leader in steel constructions.
